''"The Best Telenovela of the Year" (Premios TVyNovelas 1984)'' ==Plot== Magdalena Mendoza (Christian Bach) is a young woman who is in love with José Luis (Frank Moro), a humble soldier, but is forced by Paula, her mother, to marry Alejandro Almonte (Michael Palmer), a man wealthy, to save the ruin of the family, consisting of his father, General Ivan Mendoza (Carlos Riquelme), and his brother Dimitrio (Rafael Sánchez Navarro). Alejandro, meanwhile, is the illegitimate son of a rich man, who recognized him shortly before his death, and reaches Puebla to see the paper mill inherited him. When Alejandro finds out about this, and thinking that Magdalena agreed, decides to make life impossible, especially when he knew she was in love with Jose Luis, so he had the soldier sent to prison. After he marries Magdalena and José Luis Alejandro escapes from prison and goes to the mansion of the Mendoza family after the wedding.
